It was a good trip thank you for the experience

The point of going to Walt Disney World for this trip was for the opportunity to experience behind the scenes agricultural/animal work. Not for the experiences to be changed to random little farms in Florida. We have little farms aplenty where we live.

Overall, our experience working with this company for our Disney educational trip started out very positive but became more challenging as the planning process continued. During the planning stage, there was an issue where our originally requested educational tours were not booked. By the time this was discovered, many of the tours we had hoped to participate in were already full. As a result, we had to significantly rearrange our itinerary to ensure that the trip still included meaningful educational experiences for our students. The replacement hydroponics tour that was arranged ended up being a great experience. The students learned a lot and it aligned well with the educational goals of our program. However, the animal-focused tour that was booked as a replacement did not meet the expectations that were communicated to us. It ended up being more similar to a petting zoo experience. While the students did enjoy interacting with the animals—especially spending time in the goat pen—the educational component was minimal. There was some discussion of the other animals on the farm and a brief mention of parasite control, but topics that were originally promised, such as hoof care and nutrition, were not covered. There were also a few logistical issues during the trip. The nightly security guards who were assigned to monitor the students were late each evening. The first night they arrived about an hour late, the second night approximately 30 minutes late, and the third night about 10 minutes late. On the second night, they also allowed students to leave their rooms without asking where they were going, which raised some supervision concerns. Additionally, when we were traveling from the airport to the park on our arrival day, the bus we were on lost power and broke down. This caused us to arrive at the park roughly two hours later than planned. That being said, there were several positive aspects of working with this company. Throughout the process they were professional, communicative, and responsive. They maintained consistent contact with us and were very quick to respond whenever we had questions or needed assistance. When our flights were delayed, they immediately reached out and reassured us that they would help secure alternate flights if necessary. Their responsiveness and willingness to assist were appreciated. In summary, while there were several planning and logistical challenges that impacted parts of our experience, the company’s communication and support during unexpected situations were strong.

Easy peasy experience. Financing through the website - great Communication from school leaders - good School execution during the trip - good. (Shout outs to JHS Russel Sage Faculty!!) 2 things remain on my mind though. Disney has a lot of restrictions for their food vouchers and dining plans, therefore my child wasn’t as educated on the process and didn’t use several vouchers that I technically paid for, missed opportunity. It was Disney, so the presence of a security guard wasn’t critical. (Even though I was told it was included in the price) But what if it wasn’t Disney, how can I be sure there will be security guards or monitors at a different place? *Chaperones are free Overall, children had fun and everyone returned safely. The trip was a success! I like Education Travel Consultant and would do it again.

The memories made on this trip will be ones that I will remember for many years to come. I had so much fun going on rides, trying new foods and learning new things at the workshop I went to. I wish I could go again!

We traveled with ETC for the Eco-venture in South Florida during July 2023. We had 30 students attend the trip and they LOVED it as did the teachers and chaperones! I highly recommend the tour and the company was great to work with! We enjoyed it so much, we are offering the same trip for summer 2025 with a few minor adjustments. EXCELLENT OPPORTUNITY FOR ALL!
